Welcome to Finding Your Voice with Singer & Vocal Coach Justine Lucas. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the services we provide. By accessing our website or making purchases with our online store, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Services Offered - Our website offers Meditative Vocal Coaching and related services provided by qualified instructors. Our sessions involve a combination of meditation, somatic chakra work, yogi breathwork, and vocal technique. We often refer to these services as “Voice Sessions”, as we work with the voice in more ways than traditional vocal technique or Western music teaching styles. We strive to provide accurate and helpful information, but we do not guarantee any specific outcomes from these sessions.
Registration and Forms - In order to access our voice sessions, you may be required to create an account on our website, fill out student intake forms, or provide certain information so that we may serve your musical and healing needs. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Any activities that occur under your account are your responsibility. If you suspect any unauthorized use of your account, you must notify us immediately.
Payments and Fees - Payments for voice sessions and services is required prior to accessing the sessions. We may offer various payment methods, and you agree to provide accurate and valid payment information. You authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your chosen payment method.
Pricing and Taxes - All prices for voice sessions and services are displayed on our website. Prices are subject to change without notice. In addition to the stated prices, you may be responsible for any applicable taxes or fees imposed by your jurisdiction. Usually, we try to incorporate any taxes into the prices you see in our online store.
Refunds and Cancellations - All purchases are final, and no refunds will be provided for voice sessions or services, regardless of the reason. However - rescheduling is accepted under the following circumstances: A) Rescheduling notice must be given over email to justinelucasmusic@gmail.com within 24 hours of their scheduled session time. B) Each student may reschedule up to 3 times within the calendar year without rescheduling fees, provided that they notify us within 24 hours of their session. C) Rescheduling fees may be up to 50% of the session cost. D) In the event that you have a family emergency or health emergency, you are welcome to reschedule your session date and time within or up to 1 hour before your scheduled session with no penalty. E) In the event of a cancellation by the instructor, or any technical issues on our part that prevent the provision of the session, we will offer a rescheduling of your session or a credit toward future services.
Confidentiality - The Student agrees to maintain the confidentiality of any sensitive or proprietary information shared by Justine or other instructor(s) during the voice sessions. This includes any insights, techniques, or methodologies taught during the lessons.
Intellectual Property - All content, materials, and intellectual property on our website and in our live voice sessions, including but not limited to: written content, descriptions of services, descriptions of teaching methods, conceptual content within voice sessions, graphics, images, program logos, audio clips, video clips, and lesson materials, are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. You agree not to copy, distribute, modify, transmit, teach, or use any of our intellectual property without prior written consent from Justine Lucas.
Personal Use Only - The Student may take notes and record the voice sessions solely for personal use and reference. Any notes or recordings made during the sessions are strictly for the student's own educational purposes and shall not be shared, distributed, or used for any commercial or public purposes without prior written consent from Justine Lucas.
Reflection and Research - By using our services, you are consenting to the use of written, recorded, or otherwise notated information from voice sessions for the purposes of learning, reviewing, and analyzing our own teaching methods and exercises. Any notes or recorded information from a session will be used for educational purposes only, unless the student is otherwise notified and has given their consent. Justine Lucas remains the right to use any recorded information that involves her own performance as a teacher as means for market research or marketing purposes.
User Conduct - You agree to use our website and services for lawful purposes only. You must not engage in any activities that may harm, disrupt, or interfere with our website, services, or other users' experience. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, hacking, transmitting viruses, spamming, or engaging in any form of illegal or unethical behavior.
Disclaimer of Warranties - We make no warranties or representations, whether expressed or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content, materials, or services provided on our website or in our sessions. We disclaim any responsibility for any harm or damages resulting from the misguided use or inability to use our website or services.
Limitation of Liability - To the extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or services.
Indemnification - You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in connection with your use of our website or services or any violation of these Terms & Conditions.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction - These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which our business is registered. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions shall be exclusively brought in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
